With over 30 years of experience, Mary Fell Sadler provides evidence-based speech and language therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She addresses a wide range of communication challenges, including articulation, stuttering, apraxia, aphasia, voice disorders, and more.
Mary has a special focus on developmental language disorders and their impact on speech and literacy, helping individuals build stronger communication skills for everyday life.
Developmental Language Disorder
A disorder that makes using and understanding language difficult. DLD can cause challenges across many aspects of life including school, work, and social relationships at all ages.
Apraxia & Stuttering
Apraxia; A motor speech disorder that makes it difficult to speak. An individual has difficulty saying sounds, syllables, and words. Stutter; trouble speaking in a fluid, or flowing way.
Voice Disorders
Affects the ability to speak normally. Can result for poor vocal hygiene, stress on the voice, laryngitis, acid reflux, paralyzed vocal cord(s), Parkinson's Disease, respiratory illness, and more.
Phonological Disorders

About Mary
Mary Fell Sadler has been a practicing speech language pathologist for over 30 years. She works with communication disorders in children and adolescents, including language impairments and their effects on reading, and writing development. She has extensive experience with language disorders, articulation disorders, (including hard to correct sounds), stuttering, apraxia, autism, auditory processing, word finding, and phonological awareness.
She has spoken locally, as well as nationally, on topics such as reading comprehension and written language, visual supports for autism and other disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, and assistive technology. Working several years in public and private school settings has provided tremendous insight into the demands placed on students with language and learning disorders, from preschool through high school and beyond. She sees clients in the private school setting as well as at her office.
