About Mary

Mary Fell Sadler has been a practicing speech language pathologist for over 30 years. She employs evidence based practice in her work with communication disorders. Mary works with children and adolescents as well with adults. She has helped individuals meet functional goals to improve articulation and phonological disorders, stuttering, apraxia, aphasia, cleft palate speech, voice disorders, social language disorders, auditory processing, word finding, phonemic awareness, and more . She has particular expertise in developmental language disorders and their effects on spoken communication as well as literacy (reading and writing development). 

She has spoken locally, as well as nationally, on topics such as reading comprehension and written language, visual supports for autism and other disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, and assistive technology.  Working several years in public and private school settings has provided tremendous insight into the demands placed on individuals with communication disorders from preschool through high school and beyond. She sees clients in the private school setting as well as at her office.
