Apraxia
A motor speech disorder that makes it difficult to speak. An individual has difficulty saying sounds, syllables, and words. It is not due to muscle weakness or paralysis; rather, the brain has difficulty planning and coordinating all of the movements with the lips, tongue, and jaw necessary for speech.

Voice Disorders
Affects the ability to speak normally. Can result for poor vocal hygiene, stress on the voice, laryngitis, acid reflux, paralyzed vocal cord(s), Parkinson's Disease, respiratory illness, and more. The individual's voice can be perceived as rough, hoarse, tense, strained, too quiet or loud, and/or the individual may have pain when they speak.
