Serving clients of all ages in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Mary Sadler Speech exclusively accepts private payment for services. We accept credit, debit, HSA, and FSA cards through a secure client web portal. To assist with potential insurance reimbursement, we provide a monthly superbill detailing services rendered, which you can submit directly to your insurance provider. Please note that it is the client’s responsibility to verify whether their insurance company accepts and reimburses for superbills.
Choosing private pay offers several advantages: no need for a physician referral to begin therapy, no annual limits on the number of sessions, full access to all therapy services without restrictions, transparent pricing with no hidden fees, and personalized care without the administrative burden of insurance-driven requirements. This allows our therapists to focus entirely on you or your child’s progress and goals.
-
Mary Sadler Speech provides a free initial consultation call to learn your concerns and goals. If an evaluation appointment is scheduled, it may involve standardized testing, informal observations and input from parents, teachers, and the client if they are an adolescent or adult. The initial evaluation session for speech disorders is typically 30 minutes; length for evaluation language and/or literacy is typically 2-4 hours. A conference is scheduled once testing is completed to share results and develop an individualized treatment plan.
-
Typically 1-2 sessions per week, with each session lasting 30, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on the disorder and how severe it is. Intervention in collaboration with family members along with other professionals leads to the greatest success and satisfaction in improving communication in school and work settings as well as in day to day life.
-
This is a challenging question to answer as each person is unique. Everyone responds differently to intervention. It depends on the speech and language challenges that are present. It also depends on severity of the impairment, and other risk factors present. As you work with your therapist, goals and targets will likely change or evolve as skills improve.
